Various opportunities for Outreach
are available during each 12-week class period. These
include:
- Seasonal assistance
initiatives
- Partnership with local churches to provide food and shelter for the homeless, as part of the
city of Norfolk's Emergency Shelter Team (N.E.S.T.)
- Emergent or one-time assistance
requirements
The chaplain and chapel community
also provide pastoral care through counseling, networking, and
visits to those who are hospitalized or incarcerated.
