Lodging for Joint Forces Staff College (JFSC) Students is available on campus with the Navy Gateway Inns and Suites (NGI&S).
REQUESTS FOR RESERVATIONS can be made through DES Form 20 no later than one week prior to class start date to guarantee availability. Please make sure "Student Quarters" block is check on the Form 20. In addition to requesting reservations on DES Form 20 you will be required to contact the lodging office to verify your arrival and departure date and to guarantee your reservation with a credit card. Reservations are only guaranteed after receiving a confirmation number from the Navy Gateway Inns & Suites.
NGI&S JFSC ACCOMODATIONS include private one and two room suites all with private bathrooms. Included amenities include free wireless internet access and cable. Each room shares (with one or two other residents) a common living space equipped with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. In keeping with the joint environment of JFSC please expect to share common areas with men and women of all branches of service as well as civilian agencies. All NGI&S facilities are non-smoking and do not allow Pets.

NGI&S HAS A LIMITED NUMBER OF FAMILY STYLE HOUSES ON CAMPUS. Students selected for the Family Style Houses are billeted from an established priority list. Availability of all suites cannot be confirmed until after student requirements have been met. If you choose to travel with your family you should also make your own off-campus arrangements in case on-campus accommodations are unavailable. JFSC instructions do not allow family members to accompany students in Standard Rooms or Suites with the exception of weekends and holidays.
In the event you elect to stay off-campus statements of non-availability will not be issued.
JFSC gate hours are 0500-1800 (M-F) CLOSED nights, weekends, and holidays.
When the JFSC gate is closed, personnel must enter through NSA, Norfolk gate 5.
NOTE:
1. Students who are TDY/TAD en route and whose ultimate duty assignment is the local Hampton Roads area must sign in to their gaining unit prior to reporting to the College in order to start BAH entitlements.
2. If taking commercial transportation to JFSC, instruct the driver to take you to JFSC, not to Norfolk Naval Station.
3. JAWS students are advised to review JAWS-specific housing information posted in JAWS section of website under Schools and Academic Programs.

Staff College.

reservations may be made up to 60 days in advance. JFSC cannot make
block reservations. Reservations are reviewed every 14 days during
occupancy. Rooms include a kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator,
kit utensils, pots and pans and stove top unit. Rooms have single
bed, 2 double beds or 2 double beds with a rollaway bed.
The Navy Lodge is NOT endorsed by JFSC.
