Computer Capabilities

Presently, JFSC is using Windows XP Professional as its primary operating system.

Students are issued a government laptop with Microsoft Windows XP Professional installed.

Microsoft Office 2007 Professional Suite is installed on all computers. The suite offers Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint to handle word processing, spreadsheets, database manipulation, and slide presentations.

Students are provided with a Microsoft Outlook profile for emailing and managing personal information.

Microsoft Internet Explorer is installed on all computers to give students access to the Internet. Additionally, Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed on all computers to permit reading and printing of pdf files.

Students have 24-hour, 7-day access to Normandy Hall, our main building on campus. Each seminar is assigned four computers to be shared by all students.

Presently, there is no dial-up access to the JFSC computer network.
