JAWS Reporting Instructions
Reporting:

Students should meet Service-prescribed fitness/weight standards and will report for duty at the JFSC Personnel and Administration Division, Rm C-103, Bldg SC-1 (JFSC main entrance), from 0730 to 1600 (Mon - Fri), starting date to be determined. Students reporting early must contact the Joint Personnel Office at the Joint Forces Staff College:

Students reporting early will remain in leave status until the authorized reporting period. Students will hand-carry their medical and dental records.

JAWS Student Billeting/Housing Information:
A limited number of on-campus family housing is currently available for JAWS students. BOQ accommodations are available for those traveling unaccompanied (maximum of 90 days), and may be reserved by contacting the JFSC Navy Gateway Inns and Suites Office via email at: mwr_vq@jfsc.ndu.edu or via phone at (757) 963-9600.
If you require family housing, please contact the Norfolk Navy Housing Welcome Center at (757) 444-2850 / DSN 564-2850 or visit them at Personnel Support Mall building 337 located at 7924 15th Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23505 (directly behind the Navy Federal Credit Union).
Local economy housing ranges from medium to expensive. Students should make early arrangements for living accommodations prior to beginning the academic program at JFSC. Note: Reservations must be made through the DES Form 20 NLT 1 week prior to class start date to guarantee availability. Ensure "Student Quarters" box is checked on the Form 20.
Uniform
Uniform Requirements/Authorized Uniforms: [ Click here ]
Students will be advised of uniform requirements for field trips, off-sites, and the graduation exercise. Uniform is not required for reporting in, however uniform for first day of class is Service Warfighting Uniform.
