Method of  Instruction:  A 50 minute presentation
Situation:  The principles of operational warfare are the basic tools used in joint planning.  Now that we’ve covered the background of the joint environment, we need to cover the tools and process used as we go into planning.  The basic lesson is taught, then the example of the Inchon landing is used to provide operational examples of the principles discussed.  The information provided during the lesson and historical example also serve to provide a number of good examples for use at different times during the plan development lessons.
