RESPONSIBILITIES
FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND REVIEW OF OPERATION PLAN
|
|
1. General
Standards. …Compressing the planning cycle in transition to Contingency
Planning requires very rapid operation plan reviews. These short
timelines require reviewers to focus primarily on serious deficiencies that
affect plan execution. Additionally, short timelines dictate the exclusion of
action officer level reviews. All reviews will be submitted at the O6 planner
level.
|
|
3. Types
of Formal Reviews
|
|
a. Strategic Concept Review. This
review is conducted at the conclusion of the concept development activity. It
focuses on the intelligence, assumptions, mission statement and concept of
operations. It is applicable to new operation plans and existing plans with
operational concept changes.
|
|
b. Plan
Review. This review is conducted at the conclusion of plan development.
It is a formal review of the entire operation plan, including TPFDD. It is
applicable to all operation plans submitted to the Chairman for review.
